“What an awesome long weekend in a beautiful house on the coast of Spain. Super well taken care of us, Sylvia! Inspiring conversations, intens yoga classes with extra feedback on our movements, good breath workshop and last but not least, really good and healthy food. Every afternoon you have some time for yourself to do whatever you want; self reflection, beach time, swimming pool time, or do nothing. I really recommend this Move Breath Lead retreat to have a bit of me-time and to broaden your mind.“
“Unique self experience for life. Thank you! 🙂“
“Leadership is not a thing… it’s a way of living in my experience – to live with honesty & integrity to yourself and others.
Leadership is an approach to life, managing the self before supporting others!
It is remaining composed in times of stress…
It’s providing humor in tough times when motivation is low.
It’s an encouraging nudge when you see somebody struggling.
It is also providing direction in uncertain times and finding balance when everything around you is wobbly!
Hence I went on a retraite to re-balance myself first and foremost….with the very balanced Sylvia Keijzer 🧘🏼♀️
Time to rest & reflect, re-align with my core values and rebuilding my resilience for whatever comes next, combined with sunrise sessions, challenging forest walks, yoga & breathing sessions and an Icebath 🥶 which was suprisingly comfortable…. 👌🏻😅
Thanks dear Sylvia Keijzer for thinking of me, reaching out and taking such good care of me for a few days….🤗
Thanks for walking with me, stretching with me, listening to me and caring for me, much appreciated and highly recommendable escape to the calming hills of Premia de Dalt🇪🇸 for a long weekend🫶🏼😘”
“Join the Move Breathe & Lead. Just do that.
In these demanding times there is nothing that I would recommend more highly than a few days on the Move Breathe & Lead retreat at this beautiful, quiet part of the Catalan coast .
If your are always on the Move Breathe & Lead retreat gives your body time to calm down.
‘Why did you join my Move Breathe & Lead retreat and what are your expectations?’ Sylvia asked me before I got on the plane to Spain. Actually, I did not know exactly what my expectations were. I longed for a short break from my current demanding every day life (work/family) and wanted to think trough some issues. I figured that practicing yoga, sleep and eat well would give my body time to calm down and hopefully my mind to open up. As Sylvia had been my online yoga teacher for over a year now – and I enjoyed her classes a lot – I trusted I would be in good hands.
And so I was. What I liked is that there was nothing fanatic about this retreat. Apart from the schedule of two yoga/breathing classes a day Sylvia encouraged us to do as little or as much yoga, meditation, breathing exercise, hiking and swimming in the sea as we wished. And it is precisely this rather low-key regime that I find beneficial about it. This, and the tasteful meals prepared by Sylvia and the beautiful farmhouse surrounded by olive trees with spectacular views was what gave me in less than a day a sense of calmness and focus.
It became common practice to get up at six in the morning to watch the sunrise. This might sound a little fanatic, and yet, this was one of the best parts of the retreat. The quiet, silent walk in the early morning to the seaside to contemplate the sun rising above the glistened waves of the sea was absolutely freeing.
Twice a day we sat on our yoga mat for an hour-long yoga or breathing class in the garden of the farmhouse: an invigoration vinyasa in the morning, yin yoga to calm down in the afternoon. Sylvia’s calm and clear instruction style led us in a smoothly yoga routine which was challenging but not pushed to any personal limits. Meanwhile we listened to the rollicking waves of the sea while a gently wind caressed our face and body. If the yoga pose allowed us to do so, we even could take a glimpse at the crystal clear blue sky above.
I longed for a short break but I didn’t want this experience to end. I am always on, and this retreat helped me to push past this. Just in a few days I regained my sense of routine, structure and focus that is so often missing in my – our? – every day life. In these demanding times there is nothing that I would recommend more highly than a few days on the Move Breath & Lead retreat at this beautiful, quiet part of the Catalan coast.“

“Last week at this time, I was still in Spain! At Sylvia’s yoga retreat. La casa del mar Ametlla, a heavenly location and house, including delicious food, was such a perfect match for Sylvia’s yoga classes. We also had beautiful weather. Everything worked together to create a good atmosphere, cheerful and friendly. I learned new things: the many ways to breathe, experiencing the sunrise, opening yourself up through yoga exercises. Sylvia is an enthusiastic and relaxed teacher. Highly recommended! Experience it for yourself!“
